Dr. Robert E. Cohen, PsyD, ABPP is a clinical neuropsychologist specializing in the evaluation of adults and geriatric patients in clinical, rehabilitation and forensic settings. He is board certified in Rehabilitation Psychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). He holds a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL. His internship was completed at the North Chicago VA, where his training included neuropsychological evaluation of veterans and treatment of PTSD. His post-doctoral fellowship was completed at All Saints Hospital in Racine, WI where he obtained training in rehabilitative neuropsychology and health psychology.
Dr. Cohen began his career in Kenosha, Wisconsin working for a neurology group until his relocation to Orlando, FL in 2005, where he pioneered a new neuropsychology service line at Orlando Health. Dr. Cohen served as Director of this service line, until 2014 when he was invited to lead the neuropsychology department at Compass Research/Bioclinica. Currently, Dr. Cohen is a Major serving as a Behavioral Health Officer in the Florida Army National Guard and is the Team Neuropsychologist for the Orlando City Lions. He has served as an expert neuropsychologist witness numerous times in both criminal and civil litigation cases, for both plaintiff and defense. In his private clinical work, Dr. Cohen specializes in the evaluation of traumatic brain injury/concussion, stroke, dementia, PTSD, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, epilepsy, and other neurologic and psychiatric disorders.
